Nomcraft Triskelion 2025 : Background
Nomcraft Triskelion 2025 is a 6% hazy IPA from Nomcraft Brewing based in Aridagawa, Wakayama. It’s part of their canned and draught lineup, and is a collaborative effort with Hino Brewing and Open Air Brewing. The idea for this series is that each brewery brews a beer from one of the other breweries, and Nomcraft used Hino Don’t Yare Hazy IPA as the base recipe. Nomcraft Triskelion 2025 is brewed with Citra, Columbus, Idaho 7, and Mosaic hops.

Nomcraft Triskelion 2025 : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Nomcraft Triskelion 2025 poured out a vibrant golden yellow colour with a thin amount of white head on top that left some thick streaks down the side of the glass.
The aroma was tropical forward – some guava here, some mango there, some pineapple everywhere – and lasted throughout drinking. The flavour was brought together with some light citrus notes of lemon and orange, with an underlying flavour of sweetness from the malts to bring it all together.
It’s interesting to try a beer that was made at one brewery, but replicated somewhere else. There are many differences at play here : a different sized system; different water profile, to name but two. And with Nomcraft Triskelion 2025, I would have like to have tried it alongside the original beer.
It started off with a smooth, well-rounded hoppy bitterness that was soothing and gentle on the palate but noticeable. This though was still delicious with a tropically fruity body – mango and pineapple being the two strongest flavours coming through. There were some light citrus notes to the beer, with the lemon and orange flavours being the two of note. Nomcraft Triskelion 2025 finished off with a tropical fruit juice feeling to the body – some stickiness in the body, and a residual juice feeling at the end.
Nomcraft Triskelion 2025 : The Bottom Line
This is a tasty little beer, though I would have liked to compare it against the original beer from Hino Brewing.
