T0ki Manda La : Appearance

Vibrant orange-yellow body with a thin amount of white head on top that popped quickly, leaving a few streaks and bubbles down the edge of the glass.

T0ki Manda La : Aroma

Bold citrus and tropical nose – some lemon and oranges, with mango and pineapple – alongside an underlying sake funk from the koji. The nose had a bold sweetness present once the beer had warmed up, but it was all about the hops.

T0ki Manda La : Taste

Medium level of sweetness with a full bodied mouthfeel in spite of it being drying. The hops were vibrant with citrus and tropical notes lingering throughout drinking, with the flavours being the same as in the nose. The sake funk laid just under the surface of flavours, being in the supporting role, rather than the main star.

T0ki Manda La : The Bottom Line

A solid double IPA that lies on the dry side of the style. Very drinkable in warmer weather.
