Tsukarenaosu Brewery : Background
Tsukarenaosu Brewery is located in Minami Awaji, on the island of Awaji, that lies just south of Kobe, in Hyogo. The brewpub was renovated from an old fishing equipment warehouse on the site of a former fish farm in Minami Awaji City. Located within the Setonaikai National Park, it is brewed with care in a place surrounded by mountains and the sea.
Tsukarenaosu Brewery takes its name from the Palau language, “skarenauos”. This is roughly translated as the “method of relieving stress by drinking beer”. Sounds perfectly right up our street at BeerTengoku. The headbrewer, Kensuke Suga, at Tsukarenaosu Brewery had his training at Tanbaji Brewery, located up the road in Kyoto.
