Beer Again Brewing Information

Background

Beer Again Brewing is a brewery located in Gotemba, in Shizuoka and they began operations in January 2023. The company was founded in Vi-again Village, which is a campsite that can be rented out exclusively to one group, and in addition to the campsite, there is a bar and this brewery on site.

The name “Beer Again” reflects the founders’ desire to encourage people to rediscover beer—to enjoy it again with fresh appreciation and curiosity. The brewery focuses on using local ingredients when possible and creating beers that are firmly based in American styles.

The following are some of the beers we’ve had:

• Beer Again Fukuyoka – A 6.5% West Coast IPA brewed with  Cascade, Citra, Idaho 7, and Mosaic hops.
• Beer Again Fujiyama Takibeeeer – A 5% Northwest amber lager that uses Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook hops.
• Beer Again Kurochan – A 5% coffee stout that uses Columbus hops alongside lactose, coconuts, and Indonesian Mandheling coffee coffee beans in the making.
• Beer Again Left MikiTY – A 6.5% West Coast IPA that uses Amarillo, Cascade, Columbus and Mosaic hops during the making of it.
• Beer Again Hop Suke – A 5% American pale ale that uses Amarillo and Motueka hops.
• Beer Again Tap Truck IPA – A 6.5% New Zealand IPA that uses Citra, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, and Riwaka hops.
• Beer Again Urban Boyz – A 6.5% West Coast IPA that uses Columbus and Saaz hops on the boil and then El Dorado, Kohia Nelson, Mosaic, and Strata in the dry hopping.
