Established in 1998, Waku Waku Tezukuri Farm Brewery’s main aim is to use locally grown 100% six-row barley from the foot of Mount Hakusan since their first beer in 1999. They also use subterranean water from Mt. Hakusan for brewing water. They also try to use locally grown wheat and rice, with Koshihikari rice, known to be one of the best varieties in Japan, as their main choice of rice.
