Our Brewing Dino Kid is a 5.5% American strong pale ale from Our Brewing, based in Fukui, in Fukui. It’s part of their canned and draught lineup though its availability is unknown at the time of writing. The beer is brewed with Centennial, Citra, and Cryo Ekuanot hops. The beer used the dip hop method which involves steeping hops in warm water or wort, in the fermenter, then transferring chilled wort into the fermenter to combine with the hop tea, and pitching yeast. Finally, like other beers from Our Brewing, this beer contains locally grown six-row malt.

Our Brewing Dino Kid : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Our Brewing Dino Kid poured out a light golden straw colour with a thin layer of white head on top that left a few bubbles on top as it dissipated across the beer.
In terms of aroma, Our Brewing Dino Kid was fantastic. A big bold aroma of citrus and tropical fruits was present from start to finish. Combined with this, was a light bubblegum-like aroma to the beer, which made it appear sweeter than what it was but not overly. The fruitiness of this beer took me by surprise as I really wasn’t expecting it but there was grapefruit, lemon, and orange on the citrus side, with mango and pineapple on the tropical side.
Our Brewing Dino Kid began with a smooth and balanced bitterness that was secondary to the fruitiness in the beer, that came screaming through, though it was delicated and nuanced. I really cannot fathom how all the flavours were so balanced in this beer – one moment it was citrusy, the next it was tropical, and then when it had warmed up a touch, there was some light resinous notes floating through.
