Our Brewing Magic Flavour is a 6% hazy IPA from Our Brewing, based in Fukui city, in Fukui. It’s part of their regular lineup, and is available in both cans and on draught. Like other beers from Our Brewing, Our Brewing Magic Flavour is brewed using locally grown six-row malt, and they have used Citra along with some Cryo Citra hops to make this version. However, the hop bill is known to change around so you could end up drinking a different beer than us.

Our Brewing Magic Flavour : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Our Brewing Magic Flavour poured out a thick, yet dull, golden honey colour with a large, plump white head on top that left some thick streaks down the side of the glass.
The aroma was a clear and distinct citrus bouquet, full of lemon and limes, and grapefruit with oranges on the side. And that was just when the beer was cold. Warmed up? Our Brewing Magic Flavour was potent, with lashings of fruit coming through, and a touch of malt sweetness to balance things out. I couldn’t notice any off flavours in the beer; however, if there were any, then the hops really overpowered them, in a good way.
At the start, the body to the beer had a smooth, yet well rounded bitterness, with some light citrus tart to balance things out. The hops were clearly the start of drinking with them bringing the same citrus bounty of fruits – lemon and lime; grapefruit and orange – to drinking, and it was a great beer from start to finish. I would have liked a bit more body to the beer, with some sweetness to help accentuate the flavours and make them last a bit longer, but that’s a minor point really.
