Two Rabbits Karasu-Tengu : Appearance
Vibrant hazy golden colour, the photo really doesn’t do this beer justice. Large bubbles of foam that left some lacing / streaking down the side of the glass.
Two Rabbits Karasu-Tengu : Aroma
Peach and pineapple, with some grapefruit and lemon before opening up to reveal the big mango aroma inside. Lots of hopppiness going on with this beer. Light to medium sweetness present though more of a supporting aroma than a standout one.
Two Rabbits Karasu-Tengu : Taste
Low bitterness but high flavour from the hops in this beer. It begins with the peach and pineapple, but the mango flavour comes screaming through, not wanting to be missed. It’s a beautiful, well-rounded beer, with a touch of citrus in the back – more of the grapefruit and lemon, though it’s light and can be missed. Medium sweetness as in the nose, but once again, a supporting flavour.
Two Rabbits Karasu-Tengu : The Bottom Line
A delicious beer and I’m glad I bought a couple of cans of this.
