Background
Carvaan Brewery, which is styled as CARVAAN, is a brewery located in Hanno, Saitama and opened in July 2017. It is owned and operated by Far East, which was established in October 1994. The parent company is involved in the import/export and sale of food and miscellaneous goods, as well as the manufacture and sale of food. At the time, the head brewer, Kimura-san, had previously been working at Ishikawa Brewery for 13 years before making the move here.
Carvaan means “caravan” in Persian, which links back to the parent company’s original selling point of the import and export of goods. All of their locations, as listed below, have the same theme : an ancient caravan continues its journey to a faraway bazaar, and when it arrives, it finds a town where different cultures intersect, where you can enjoy cuisine from around the world.
