Rokko Sakamai Hazy IPA : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Rokko Sakamai Hazy IPA poured out a dull orange colour with a small, yet plump, white head on top that left some thick rings around the side of the glass during drinking.
In terms of aroma, I was left a bit deflated by it, but then I had just drunk the Two Rabbits Oni Hazy IPA – my own fault really. The Rokko Sakamai Hazy IPA seemed limp in comparison and lacklustre – nothing really screamed at me or drew me in really. There was a limpy lemon and pineapple aroma, with some semblence of sweetness but nothing really exciting.
The body was more of the same really – just a limp effort all round for the beer and instantly forgettable too. I had written some notes done about faint flavours, and seemingly simple, but in the end, I just got bored of this beer.
Rokko Sakamai Hazy IPA : The Bottom Line
A limp effort that isn’t a bad made beer, but it’s not a beer that shows off the style – except for the haze.
