Shared Chain Reaction : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Shared Chain Reaction poured out a light golden honey colour with a thick white head on top that left some sticky rings around the edge of the glass.
The aroma coming off the beer was mixed dankness with a strong citrus and tropical fruit aroma. The citrus notes consisted of grapefruit, lemon, and orange, whilst the tropical fruit notes containted some mango and pineapple. There was a medium amount of sweetness from the malts going on, with just a smidgen of alcohol heat present, though only as the beer warmed up.
Shared Chain Reaction started off with a decent level of dankness to the taste, with a solid bitterness that didn’t overstay its welcome. The hops continued to shine with more of the citrus and tropical flavours lingering well on into drinking, and into the aftertaste.

Shared Chain Reaction is a solid beer that I really enjoyed – both at Shared Brewery in Hachioji, Tokyo and also twice in cans.
