Two Rabbits Blade Rabbit : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Two Rabbits Blade Rabbit poured out a hazy golden orangey straw colour with a plump white head on top that had some legs to it, as it left thick streaks down the side of the glass.
The inital citrus aroma consisted of lemon and oranges, alongside a distinct but light malt sweetness that resembled candied sugar. The hops gave way to some pineapple notes as the beer warmed, and all of this was supported but a clean and clear pine aroma that bubbled under the surface.
With a strong, but clean, bitterness to the body, this beer straddled the East Coast pale ale and West Coast IPA lines. The pine notes were more pronounced in the body, which in turn was supported by the citrus notes of lemon and orange, alongside the pineapple flavour next to it all. The body was crisp and fruity, and was perfect for the hot Sunday I drank this beer on.
Two Rabbits Blade Rabbit : The Bottom Line
Shame it’s a one and done beer as I thought that it was really good. Find it while you can.
