Groundtap Lager : Appearance

Poured out a light straw colour with a minimal amount of head on top. Slight chill haze to the body as it had been stored in the fridge before hand.

Groundtap Lager : Aroma

Light, mild aroma of some noble floral hops, with a touch of creaminess to the nose. Light dusting of rice-like quality to it – not too potent.

Groundtap Lager : Taste

Crisp body with a sake-like body to the beer. Light noble, floral flavour throughout with a touch of creaminess as the beer warms up.

Groundtap Lager : The Bottom Line

It’s hard to recommend craft lagers due to the prevelant nature of so many good macro ones on sale. Groundtap Lager is another addition to an already crowded market.
