Daisen G Grand Saison Aroma and Taste

Daisen G Grand Saison poured out light hazy yellow colour with a plump white head on top that clung to the side of the glass as the beer went down. In terms of aroma, Daisen G Grand Saison had a subtle, phenolic yeasty aroma, with a light dusting of grapes both when chilled and warmed up. Once Daisen G Grand Saison had warmed up, there was a slight wheaty nose to the malt, with just a hint of sweetness too. However, as the beer warmed up, the same phenolic aroma also grew stronger, but not enough to be off-putting or unwelcome.

Daisen G Grand Saison had a dry, crisp body from the first sip to the last, with a white wine quality to the body. The yeast brought the phenolic flavours to the forefront though not enough to be off-putting, but enough to be noticeable. However, with the addition of the wheat, there was a hint of creaminess to the beer, and with a bit of sweetness, with an accent of lemon coming though too once Daisen G Grand Saison had warmed up. The aftertaste was phenolic with a lemony quality to it.

Daisen G Grand Saison The Bottom Line

Daisen G Grand Saison is a solid, well-made refreshing saison.
