Mimasaka Beer Works is a craft beer brewery located in Mimasaka, a city in Okayama, Japan. Mimasaka Beer Works, or MBW as they abbreviate themselves to, opened in May 2018 with the brewery opening up in a disused public facility that had been lying dormant for a while.
The brewery predominantly uses imported German and British malts, as well as water that been passed through the mountains in the area. Mimasaka Beer Works was built by renovating a building that was a public facility in Maniwa City. Mimasaka Beer Works products can be purchased at a bottle shop in the brewery, as well as at liquor stores in Maniwa City and Okayama City.
Line-up
The following are part of main line-up.
- Mimasaka Sake Kasu – an 8% speciality beer that uses Junmai Daiginjo sake lees from the Gozen Sake main store.
- Mimasaka Blonde – a 5% blonde ale that uses locally grown yuzu as an adjunct.
- Mimasaka Works Pale Ale – a 5% American pale ale that uses imported American hops.

- Mimasaka Citrus Weizen – a 5% fruited hefeweizen brewed using lemons grown in the region.
- Mimasaka Chocolate Porter – a 5% porter brewed with cacao nibs and lactose.
- Mimasaka Hop Virus – a 7% American IPA brewed using Mosaic hops and contains shiitake mushrooms.
- Mimasaka Strong Stout – an 8% imperial stout that uses locally roasted coffee from Bankoku Coffee Roastery.
