Oirase Brewing Company Information

Background

Oirase Brewing Company is a craft beer brewery located near Oirase river, in Aomori, Japan. Founded in 1997, just after the relaxation of the beer production laws, Oirase Brewing Company have been using local mountain river water from Mount Hakkoda and traditional Czech brewing techniques to brew four different types of beer.

The operation was privatized and A-WORLD Co., Ltd. took over the operation in 2021 and then the liquor manufacturing license (beer) was obtained. Combined with this, the company had a redesign from top to bottom. With this, the brand and label was renewed and Oirase Beer began to be sold again.

• Oirase Amber Lager – a 5% Amber / Vienna lager that is brewed using a blend of the Oirase Pilsner and the Oirase Dark Lager recipes.
• Oirase Dark Lager – a 5% dunkel beer brewed using imported malt and hops from the Czech Republic.
• Oirase Pilsner – a 5% Czech pilsner brewed using imported malt and hops from the Czech Republic.
• Oirase Weizen – a 5% German hefeweizen style beer
