Rather than writing up individual reviews for these beers, we’ve come up with a page of beers for our recent trip to Trans Brewing Beer Stand – which is a brewpub located in Sapporo, Hokkaido. As these are draught beers, there is no guarantee that they will be on tap if and when you go there.

Trans Brewing Hiragishi Lager : Mini Review
Appearance : Relatively clear golden straw colour with a big plump head on top.
Aroma : Malt forward, with a pilsner nose, and floral hoppiness. Crisp and dry.
Body : Starts with a low bitterness that fades, with a touch of light hoppy floral notes. Lingering sweetness that is pleasant not cloying.

Trans Brewing Nouveau : Details
- Alcohol : 5.5%
- Style : Fruit beer
- IBU : 8
Trans Brewing Nouveau : Mini Review
Appearance : Dull cherry red colour with a pinkish-red head that left rings down the glass.
Aroma : Fruitiness pervading through. Light grape notes with some hints of wine tannin. No noticeable hop aroma.
Body : Body like a beer, but tastes like alcoholic grape juice. Needs a bit more booziness to punch through.

- IBU : 10
Bakudo no Kyuzhu Kurohushi : Mini Review
Appearance : Pitch black colour with a hint of head on top that faded to bubbles quickly.

Body : Surprisingly light bodied, but full flavoured beer. As in the nose, roasted malts with coffee and chocolate present. Lingering aftertaste. BEST OF THE BUNCH.
