Susukino Ji-Beer is a craft beer brewery located in Sapporo, in Hokkaido, Japan. The brewery has been operating since 1999 and takes its name from the famed Susukino Alley, known for its bars and izakayas that are open to the early hours of the morning. It’s also known for being the red light district of Sapporo too. All of their beer use German malts, as well as either German or Czech hops. The water is sourced from sea water located 200m beneath sea level, which lends itself to having a lack of nitrogen, phosphorus, silicon, and nitric acid.
