Minoh Pale is a 5% English pale ale from Minoh Beer, based in Osaka, Japan. It’s part of their all-year round range of beer and can be found in both bottles and on tap across Japan. While the malts are unknown, Minoh do use imported American Cascade hops in the brewing process.

Slightly brown, and muddy.

Minoh Pale Ale Aroma & Taste

Minoh Pale Ale pours out a toffee caramel brown that is very cloudy, you could very easily lose something in the beer if you are not careful. There was a head but it was so quick that by the time I had taken the picture, it had gone. The notes coming off of this were floral with a good dosage of orange and lemon too. Slightly hoppy but not that potent.

Minoh Pale Ale was pleasantly bitter along with the orange and lemon flavours and a strong bitter dry aftertaste. The malt flavour balanced very well with the hops so much that it tasted akin to an English pale ale rather than the American pale ale it is advertised as.

Minoh Pale Ale The Bottom Line

Minoh Pale Ale is a pleasantly strong-tasting beer that is highly recommended.
