Two Rabbits Oni Hazy IPA : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Two Rabbits Oni Hazy IPA poured out a slightly dull golden straw colour with barely any head – and that’s probably due to the fact that the can was full to the brim. There were just a few bubbles left on top, though they dissiapted very quickly to a few left on top.
The aroma coming off Two Rabbits Oni Hazy IPA was delightful. Lashings of citrus, stone, and tropical fruits coming through, even when the can was fresh out of the fridge. The peach and mango played off each other nicely, and coincided with some lemon and pineapple notes joining in. There was a lot going on with the hops in this beer and I couldn’t wait to get the beer into me.
It began with a smooth and balanced bitterness, that lingered for a decent amount of time, with the aforementioned citrus, stone, and tropical fruits coming through together. The malts were more pronounced in the body, with a touch of sweetness helping to accentuate the hoppiness in the beer, though the sweetnes did not overstay its welcome. A long lasting aftertaste was welcome and actually slowed me down drinking this beer.
Two Rabbits Oni Hazy IPA : The Bottom Line
A great example of how nice hazy IPAs can be – get it fresh!
