Susukino Yell Weizen : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Susukino Yell Weizen poured out a rather dark honey, almost brown, colour with a plump white head on top, that consisted of many small bubbles, slowly popping away. However, it did leave some thick rings around the edge of the glass.
In terms of aroma, Susukino Yell Weizen was muted, but it did have the standard aroma for a weizen – some banana, a little bit of yeasty phenol aroma, and a touch of wheat aroma being present. It was a shame about the colour of the beer really as that is on the dark side for a weizen.
The body was more of the same, disappointingly. The flavour was pretty much to style, though as in the nose, it was muted and lacked punch. Susukino Yell Weizen had a decent level of body to it, with it having a clean mouthfeel and no discerinble off flavours being present.
Susukino Yell Weizen : The Bottom Line
A bog standard beer really. Nothing special to say about it.
