Rather than writing up individual reviews for these beers, we’ve come up with a page of beers for our recent trip to In Tha Door Brewing – which is a brewpub located on Rokko Iskand in Kobe, Hyogo. As these are draught beers, there is no guarantee that they will be on tap if and when you go there.

In The Door Session IPA : Mini Review
Appearance : Clear light golden colour with a plump white head. Chill haze from a cold glass.
Aroma : Peculiar, slight grassy floral nature to the nose, with some slight oxidation present. Low sweetness.
Body : Low bitterness, big hop flavour. Floral and grassy, perhaps oxidised nature. Aftertaste was quick and fleeting.

In The Door Kurojiro : Mini Review
Appearance : Pitch black colour in the bright sun, with off-white tan head that left streaks down the glass.
Aroma : Roasted malt with some chocolate and caramel notes. Low acridity on the nose, slight earthy notes from hops.
Body : Bold with large chocoalte and roasted malt flavours. Touch of caramel and light acrid flavour in the aftertaste. Best of the bunch,
In The Door Pepper & Loquat Ale : Details

- Style : Spiced beer

In The Door Pepper & Loquat Ale : Mini Review
Appearance : Hazy straw body with a large frothy head that clung to the side of the glass.
Aroma : Started off with fruity notes like apricots, with a sprig of peppery notes in the back. Light sweetness present.
Body : Warming peppery numbness combined with a fruity apricot base in the back. Medium sweetness.
