Grandline Hello, World poured out a muddy orange colour with a slightly off-white frothy head that collapsed to a few bubbles around the edge of the glass. No yeast sediment or noticeable floaty bits in the beer.
Grandline Hello, World : Aroma
Bold double IPA aroma of citrus grapefruit and lemon notes alongside some tropical aromas of mango and pineapple. Rather straightforward without much else going on as it warmed up, but intertwined with the malts, it had a solid backbone of sweetness to support the flavour.
Grandline Hello, World : Taste
Smooth overall bitteness with a similar rounded note of hops in the body. Overall, very fruity beer with a citrus and tropical profile as found in the nose. Alcohol heat was more pronounced as the beer warmed up, but not enough to detract away from the overall pleasure of drinking.
