West Coast All The Clouds poured out a hazy dull golden yellow colour with a thick white head on top that left some thick lacing down the side of the glass. West Coast All The Clouds was packed with aroma of citrus and tropical fruits – lemon, mango, pineapple, and interestingly enough, strawberry were all noted before drinking. With West Coast All The Clouds being rather medium bodied, there was also a distinct, but light, malt sweetness to the beer and just a touch of alcohol heat as it warmed up – enough to be noted but not enough to detract from the hops.
The drinking of West Coast All The Clouds began with a bitter astringent puckering sensation that quickly moved towards a flavour profile that was similar to the aroma – lemon, mango, pineapple, and strawberry played a big part of this flavour, with a thick sticky sensation on the palate. West Coast All The Clouds had a light-medium sweetness to it that helped support the hop profile in the beer, but as it warmed up, there was a slight alcohol heat to the beer that took a little away from the hops, though the fruity flavours did linger on into the night.
