- Notable Aroma: Pine and citrus nose with light malt sweetness of pilsner. Light creaminess when warm.

DD4D Party Hat : Aroma & Taste
DD4D Party Hat poured out a hazy straw yellow colour with a thin layer of white bubbles on top that left some sticky streaks around the edge that were a pain to clean off properly. Impressively sticky I must say! The aroma was a combination of pine dankness, something that I do enjoy a lot but nice to see in a hazy beer, along with the stereotypical citrus aroma of a hazy. Not that I am complaining but most hazy beers nowadays tend to have a combination of Citra and/or Mosaic in them. DD4D Party Hat had a hint of creaminess to the nose as it warmed up, more than likely from the oats but thankfully, there was no hit of chloride coming along.
The body to DD4D Party Hat was smooth with no discernible bitterness or chloride burn – and my taste buds were so happy about that. The initial dominant flavour of pine did allow some of the citrus notes to come through, and as DD4D Party Hat warmed up, the citrus flavours of lemon, lime, and pineapple came through to be the dominant flavour throughout drinking. In terms of body, the malt flavour was a light pilsner sweetness with a touch of creaminess to help support the flavours throughout drinking.
