41 Beer Chardonnay Farmhouse Ale : Aroma & Taste
41 Beer Chardonnay Farmhouse Ale poured out a slightly hazy golden orange colour with a thin amount of white head on top, though that didn’t last long as it dissipated to leave a few bubbles around the side of the glass. The aroma was a mixed one of some light white grape aroma and a subtle funk of yeast that lingered just behind. 41 Beer Chardonnay Farmhouse Ale didn’t have a particularly hoppy aroma to it but that wasn’t a surprise as this is supposed to be a saison.
41 Beer Chardonnay Farmhouse Ale had a subtle funkiness to the body right from the get go, with it lingering on the palate for some time; however, this was offset against a rather dry and light body. The flavours in 41 Beer Chardonnay Farmhouse Ale were rather basic, but at least there was some light grape flavour to the body. When chilled, it was a tasty beer that worked well with some light roast chicken too.
41 Beer Chardonnay Farmhouse Ale : The Bottom Line
41 Beer Chardonnay Farmhouse Ale won’t win any awards but it was a surprisingly nice beer.
