Be Easy LAN Party : Aroma & Taste
Be Easy LAN Party poured out a hazy golden orange colour with a medium white head on top that lasted throughout most of drinking. The aroma though was delight – lots of resinous pine notes coming through, proper old school West Coast IPA, with citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit that were also present. Once Be Easy LAN Party had warmed up, there was obvious malt sweetness of caramel that also came through but it was a well balanced beer.
The body to Be Easy LAN Party started off with a bitterness that was swift though lingered before the dank pine body came screaming through. It was a surprisingly dank beer, though there were some lemon and grapefruits present in the body. Be Easy LAN Party veered towards a dryness when chilled, but as it warmed up, the malts became a little sweeter and brought a light dusting of caramel to bring it all together. The dank pine flavour though was the one that lingered into the aftertaste.
Be Easy LAN Party : The Bottom Line
I am glad that Be Easy LAN Party is part of their regular lineup – a solid West Coast IPA.
