Open Air Triskelion 2025 is a 6% American IPA from Open Air Brewing Information, based in Kobe, Hyogo. It’s part of their collaborative lineup, with this beer having been brewed in conjunction with Nomcraft Brewing and Hino Brewing for the Triskelion Series. This beer is brewed using Cascade, Comet, Ekuanot, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops.

Open Air Triskelion 2025 : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Open Air Triskelion 2025 poured out a light golden colour with a thin white head. The head didn’t really last long – just enough to take a picture of it before fading to a couple of bubbles on top of the beer.
The aroma though more than made up for the limpness of the head – lashings of citrus and tropical notes permeating throughout drinking. It was such a delight on the nose that I didn’t want to actually drink Open Air Triskelion 2025 – I wish something could make up some room fragrance using hop oils – a new business idea? The lemon and oranges combined with some passion fruit and pineapple which were supplemented with just a touch of light malt pilsner nose as the beer warmed up.
In the end, I succumbed to drinking the beer – it’s a hard life and someone has to do it, right? I needn’t have worried though as the flavours in the body were identical to those found during the aroma. A wonderful mix of citrus and tropical notes from start to finish, with a smooth bitterness to supplement those hoppy notes. There was a smidgen of malt sweetness to counterbalance the hops – enough to be noted, but not enough to detract.
Open Air Triskelion 2025 : The Bottom Line
It’s a shame that these beers are one offs as Open Air Triskelion 2025 was a welcome addition to the lineup from Open Air Brewing.
