Two Rabbits Pink Boots : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Two Rabbits Pink Boots poured out a slightly hazy golden straw colour with a plump white head on top that lingered throughout drinking, with some streaks down the side, and bubbles remaining on top.
The hops were the leading star of the show – with their citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon, alongside a tropical nose of mango. There was a light peach phenol aroma from the yeast alongside those hops, with a light dusting of malt sweetness just lingering underneath it all.
However, in the body, the hops didn’t seem to be as potent for some reason. They had a light flavour of citrus and tropical throughout but lacked the punch I was expecting after the nose. Compared to the yeast, which had a much more pronounced flavour of peach phenol during drinking, I was left wondering had the hops been used for aroma, more than the flavour in the beer?
Two Rabbits Pink Boots : The Bottom Line
I’d have liked some more hoppiness in the body of the beer, as it’s supposed to be a hoppy saison, but it’s a solid beer for sure.
