Nomcraft Hedgehog Socks : Aroma & Taste
Nomcraft Hedgehog Socks poured out a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin amount of white head on top that faded to a few bubble around the side of the glass. The immediate aroma from the beer was an unmistakably coffee one, with some honey and a touch of woodiness to the beer. As Nomcraft Hedgehog Socks warmed up, some of the hop aroma began to shine through though they were comparatively light, with just a faint amount of tropical pineapple and mango note, with a dusting of citrus in the form of lemon.
The body started off with a robust coffee flavour that had some bite to it and a roasted quality to it. Nomcraft Hedgehog Socks had a faint honey flavour in the background that brought the tropical and citrus flavours to the foreground. In terms of malt, Nomcraft Hedgehog Socks had a small amount of pilsner bite to it, but it was the coffee that lingered longest in the body.
Nomcraft Hedgehog Socks : The Bottom Line
Nomcraft Hedgehog Socks is an interesting beer but one that shows that kölsch flavours are easily dominated on.
