Tall Boys Dazed & Confused Hazy IPA Aroma and Taste

Tall Boys Dazed & Confused Hazy IPA poured out, unsurprisingly, a hazy golden yellow colour with a medium amount white head on top that clung to the side of the glass during drinking. The aroma coming off the beer was a classic hazy IPA – lots of citrusy notes of lemon and grapefruit and a slight minerally nose to the beer, though I am rather sensitive to that aroma. The malts were light on the nose, with just a faint dusting of pilsner sweetness, and a subtle creaminess once the beer had warmed up.

The initial drinking of Tall Boys Dazed & Confused Hazy IPA had a citrusy punch at the forefront – lemon and grapefruit were vibrant and pronounced – with a bitterness that outlasted both of the flavours. The minerally nature to the beer was also noticeable with it lying in the background of the flavours. Tall Boys Dazed & Confused Hazy IPA had a faint sweetness to it, with just a dash of pilsner sweetness, though with the beer being hop forward, it was a fleeting flavour.

Tall Boys Dazed & Confused Hazy IPA The Bottom Line

Tall Boys Dazed & Confused Hazy IPA is a good first beer from Tall Boys Brewing and looking forward to trying more of their beers.
