Two Rabbits Rabbit Punch Mountain IPA Aroma and Taste
Two Rabbits Rabbit Punch Mountain IPA poured out a slightly hazy golden orange colour with a plump white head on top that faded to a few bubbles around the outside of the glass. The aroma coming off though was a beautiful fruity one – melon, pineapple, orange, and lemon. There was a lot going on with Two Rabbits Rabbit Punch Mountain IPA but it did work well together. Once Two Rabbits Rabbit Punch Mountain IPA had warmed up, there was an underlying malt sweetness – perhaps a tad on the caramel side, but it wasn’t overpowering.
In spite of the name, Two Rabbits Rabbit Punch Mountain IPA didn’t overwhelm the taste buds in terms of bitterness, though there was a slight bitter hint to the beer. It was more about the hops, with the fruity flavours of melon, pineapple, orange, and lemon being the main flavours in the beer. Those fruity flavours lingered throughout drinking, with a faint caramel sweetness to the beer. Two Rabbits Rabbit Punch Mountain IPA finished off being more NE-IPA than West Coast IPA, with those same fruitiness just bringing a subtle stickiness to the palate.
Two Rabbits Rabbit Punch Mountain IPA The Bottom Line
Before drinking, I knew nothing about Mountain IPAs. If they’re as good as Two Rabbits Rabbit Punch Mountain IPA, then I wholly recommend the style.
