Far Yeast Westbound Session IPA is a 3.9% Session IPA from Far Yeast Brewing. It’s a collaboration beer between Far Yeast Brewing and Beersonic, a bottle shop in Fukuoka, made using Nelson Sauvin and Hallertau Blanc hops.

Far Yeast Westbound Session IPA Aroma and Taste

Far Yeast Westbound Session IPA poured out a hazy apple juice colour with a little head that nonetheless actually stuck around for once.

As expected for a 3.9% Session IPA, the head is light and fruity, with grape notes from the Nelson Sauvin hops. It tastes dry, and quite tangy, like a white wine. The hops really shine through because of the light body of the beer.

Far Yeast Westbound Session IPA: The Bottom Line

Far Yeast Westbound Session IPA is quite nice and refreshing for these increasingly sweaty days. The hop profile is really interesting too. Adding it to my Session Beers list!
