The Tohoku Craft Beer Festival is an annual craft beer festival that takes place in Nigiwai Hiroba in Akita city, Akita. Hosted by Aqula, this year it starts on Friday 17th June to Sunday 19th June. The Friday is open from 16:00 to 21:00, Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00 and the Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00. As the name states, the festival focuses on breweries from the Tohoku region, with a couple of guests from regions nearby, such as Hokkaido. Entry to the festival is free – always a bonus.
