Rather than writing up individual reviews for these beers, we’ve come up with a page of beers for our recent trip to Yumegaoka Sunday Brewing – which is a brewpub located in Yumegaoka, Kanagawa. As these are draught beers, there is no guarantee that they will be on tap if and when you go there.

Yumegaoka Sunday Saturday Night IPA : Details
- Alcohol : 7.0%
- Style : American Quadruple dry hopped IPA
- IBU : 69
Yumegaoka Sunday Saturday Night IPA : Mini Review
Appearance : Light golden colour with a thick white head on top that lingered until the end of drinking. Slightly hazy body, though not part of the aroma or flavour profile.
Aroma : Slight dill aroma from the Sabro hops, with a touch of tropical notes present. Light coconut and woody aroma as the beers warm up, but the dill aroma also gets stronger during warming up. Light sweetness on the nose but can’t avoid those dill notes from the hops.
Body : Begins with a slight bitterness to the body, though nothing overpowering not tongue-twisting. The dill flavour was the first one to come through, I’m guessing the Sabro hop is the main one in this beer as a coconut and woody flavour came through. A tough drinking beer when it warms up though so go small instead.

Yumegaoka Sunday Drunk Corgi : Details
- Alcohol : 5.0%
- Style : English Pale Ale
- IBU : 30
Yumegaoka Sunday Drunk Corgi : Mini Review
Appearance : Slight dark golden orange colour with a light brown hue to the body. Thin amount of head on top, consisting of some small to medium bubbles that faded away fast to a thin ring around the top.
Aroma : Fruity aroma of some phenols and a light dusting of dampness – akin to some cardboard so perhaps some Challenger or EKG hops were used in the making of this beer. Almost like a damp dog aroma.
Body : Light sweetness with what appeared to be a low carbonation to the beer. Some fruity notes present during drinking with a touch of mustiness also present. Not sure if the fruitiness is a deliberate flavouring or an off-flavour into the beer. Easy drinking due to the low carbonation.

Yumegaoka Sunday Ultimate Haze!! : Details
- Alcohol : 8.0%
- Style : TDH hazy IPA
- IBU : 54
Yumegaoka Sunday Ultimate Haze!! : Mini Review
Appearance : Light golden colour – the picture doesn’t do it justice I know – with a clean haze to the body. Head consisted of large white bubbles that popped away quickly to leave a layer on top.
Aroma : Tropical notes of some pineapple and mango, alongside some light dusting of grapefruit and lemon, which became more pronounced as the beer warmed up. A touch of sweetness in the back too as the beer warmed up some more.
Body : Smooth with a lingering sweetness from start to finish. Clean body of tropical and citrus notes, blending together nicely. The bitterness is present, but tempered by the light sweetness and tropical notes with no noticeable off-flavours. BEST OF THE BUNCH.
