808 Table Saison : Aroma & Taste
808 Table Saison poured out a very pale golden straw colour with a thin amount of white head on top that faded to a thin ring of bubbles around the side of the glass. The aroma consisted of a massive punch of yuzu from the get go that did not let up throughout drinking. There was just a smidgen of phenols from the yeast but only once when 808 Table Saison had warmed up.
The yuzu brought an astringent taste along with its familiar citrus flavour but that was the dominating flavour throughout drinking. There was a touch of phenol from the yeast but 808 Table Saison was incredibly dry – there was no sweetness to the beer and was more akin to drinking something like citrus flavoured water than actual beer.
