Kyushu Beer Festival Hakata, in Hakata city if you hadn’t had guessed, is the first time the roaming Kyushu Beer Festival has been held in the city for a week of drinking and eating. Starting from 2nd October, and going on until 9th October, craft beer fans can try some of Kyushu’s best craft beer, as well as from breweries farther afield. While Kyushu Beer Festival Hakata isn’t the biggest craft beer festival, we’ve heard good things about the atmosphere surrounding the event.
Held at JR Hakata Station Ekimae Hiroba, the event kicks off on the 2nd October from 17:00 to 21:00, 3rd October to 6th October from 15:00 to 21:00, 7th and 9th October at the earlier time of 11:00 to 21:00. The tickets are much simpler for this version of the Kyushu Beer Festival as at the time of writing it’s ¥600 for one beer ticket.
Breweries attending Kyushu Beer Festival Fukuoka include:
- Abashiri Beer (Hokkaido)
- Inawashiro Ji-Beer (Fukushima)
- Minoh Beer (Osaka)
- Shimane Beer Hearn (Shimane)
- Awabeer (Chiba)
- K’s Brewing Company (Kyushu)
