Swan Lake Amber Swan Ale Aroma and Taste
The first thing I noticed about Swan Lake Amber Swan Ale was the deep copper red colour of the red. It’s been a long time since I’ve had an amber ale but I was suitably impressed with the colour and also the the aroma too. The aroma reminded me of those digestive biscuits that are full of wheat and also the hoppy tones also came through in the end as well. The hoppiness was, for me, unusual for a Japanese amber but most welcome.
Swan Lake Amber Swan Ale tasted as good as it smelt with the malts producing a caramel edge that was just, well, right. The hops well present to produce a bitter aftertaste which strong but didn’t linger or outstay its welcome. For some strange reason, which I am still to fully grasp, ginger played some part in the taste of Swan Lake Amber Swan Ale as I noted the peculiar ginger spiciness as well. Weird..
Swan Lake Amber Swan Ale One Line Review
Swan Lake Amber Swan Ale is an extremely nice amber ale that I highly recommend.
