Every year, Kumazawa Brewing, makers of Shonan Beer, host the Kumazawa Brewing Oktoberfest at their on-site village around the brewery in Kagawa, Kanagawa from Saturday 10th October to Monday 12th October. Kumazawa Brewing Oktoberfest opens at 11:30 and runs until 21:00 with last entry at 20:30 while on the Monday, last entry is at 20:00 as it will close at 20:30.
Tickets for Kumazawa Brewing Oktoberfest cost ¥4,500 which gets you a special logo-emblazoned glass as well as eleven tickets that can be used for either food or drink, while extra tickets cost ¥3,500 for a pack of ten. This Kumazawa Brewing Oktoberfest’s is also special because it is the 20th anniversary of Shonan Beer so expect some special beers on tap too along with the opening of the Mokichi Wurst Cafe that was being constructed when we visited the brewery for our interview. You can also expect some musical entertainment too.

Kumazawa Brewing Oktoberfest is located at the Kumazawa Brewing brewery in Kagawa, Chigasaki. The closest station to the brewery is Kagawa on the JR Sagami line that runs from Chigasaki up to Hashimoto passing through Ebina and Atsugi. From Kagawa station, it is about a ten minute walk through some countryside.
