Yellow Beer Momo Bi 3 : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste

Yellow Beer Momo Bi 3 poured out a dull hazy honey colour with a reasonable amount of thick, sticky white head on top that left some thick rings around the side of the glass during drinking.

In terms of aroma, it didn’t smell like a parfait at all. In fact, it smelt rather muted besides the peaches. I’m not the biggest peach fan – I’ll eat one if someone gave it to me – but it’s not a fruit I particularly crave. Besides the peach aroma, there was a slight creaminess on the nose but it seemed that the hops used in this beer had been wasted as there was barely anything of note from them.

The body was a little bit better in the end, with a thick bodied mouthfeel alongside some stickiness to it. The peach flavour remained the strongest throughout drinking, with a lingering creamy body behind it all but that was really all that came through during drinking.

Yellow Beer Momo Bi 3 : The Bottom Line

I’m glad that this beer didn’t cost me 2,680 yen as I would be majorly disappointed. Even at 1,000 yen, I’m a bit miffed.
