Beer Again Urban Boyz, which is stylised as Beer Again URBan Boyz, is a 6.5% West Coast IPA from Beer Again Brewing, based in Gotemba, Shizuoka. It’s part of their bottled and draught lineup, though its availability is unknown at the time of writing. The beer is also a collaborative effort, having been brewed with Beer OLYN for third anniversary celebrations. It’s brewed with Columbus and Saaz hops on the hot side, and dry hopped with El Dorado, Kohia Nelson, Mosaic, and Strata hops.

Beer Again Urban Boyz : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Beer Again Urban Boyz poured out a dark golden biscuit colour with a thick white head on top. That head had some medium and large bubbles inside that popped away, but clung to the side of the glass throughout drinking.
Let’s talk about the aroma first of all – well that’s what we always do. Beer Again Urban Boyz had a wonderful dank, resinous nose of pine from the get go. That dankness was most welcoming, yet it went screaming towards a tropical aroma soon after, with mango, passion fruit, and pineapple chasing those resinous notes. There was a touch of light citrus present, with a squeeze of lemon and lime, and some malt caramel notes just supporting it throughout.
The body was as delicious as the nose. It began with a sharp bitterness that was at the forefront, though was swept aside to a footnote with the tropical flavours from the hops. More mango, passion fruit, and pineapple came through in the body and were the most prominent during drinking. An underpining citrus note of lemon and lime, along with a caramel sweetness, helped support the beer but it was over too soon. It was that delicious.
