Ambeer : Background
We came across Ambeer pretty much the same way we come across most shops now – searching for beers online and finding something new. However, it’s a shop that we’ve used many times in the past yet never wrote it up – until we realised that it’s also an actual shop you can pop into in Osaka. Similar to Sanka, Ambeer operate by selling camping goods as well as craft beer – so drink a few beers and you might end up ordering a new tent. Another similarity they both share is that they uses the Stores shopfront – thankfully something that is easy and quick to use.
On our visits to the site, we’ve seen beers from mostly more modern breweries on the site, such as Vertere, Totopia Brewery, West Coast Brewing, Teenage Brewing, and Novoru Brewing to name but a few. The range of styles can also be searched, so you’re not just picking up hazy IPAs.
