Tsukarenaosu American Pale Ale : Appearance
Tsukarenaosu American Pale Ale poured out a medium to light straw colour with a decent amount of fluffy white head, made up of small bubbles that clung to the side of the glass. There was a slight chill haze to the beer though that was because it had just come out of the fridge.
Tsukarenaosu American Pale Ale : Aroma
Standard American hops from the start to the finish – so lots of citrus notes in the form of lemon and grapefruit, alongside a touch of dank pine notes as the beer warms up. There was also a touch of light pale ale sweetness in the back of the beer as it warmed up throughout drinking, but it was the hops that were the main in this beer.
Tsukarenaosu American Pale Ale : Taste
The beer began with a smooth bitterness – nothing to heavy or punchy – but enough to be noted from start to finish. Like in the aroma, the body of the beer was all about the hops – citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit – and some light sweetness in the end to balance out.
Tsukarenaosu American Pale Ale : The Bottom Line
A prototypical American pale ale – based on a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, so easy drinking and flavourful, while light on the palate.
