The Gifu Beer Festival returns in 2017 and this year it’s a two-day event on Saturday 1st July and Sunday 2nd July, held outside of JR Gifu train station, pretty much the Chubu version of Kanto’s Keyaki Festival it seems. With about 20 breweries attending this year’s event, there is plenty of beer to choose from for a relatively new craft beer festival. The event is open from 11:00 to 20:00 on the 1st July, and 11:00 to 18:00 on the Sunday.
Tickets haven’t been announced at the time of writing but if it’s like the 2016 event then all beer and food can only be bought with coin tokens that cost ¥2,000 for 5 tokens on the day or in advance.
