Forest Brewing Morning Mist Jerez : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Forest Brewing Morning Mist Jerez poured out a light golden amber colour with barely any head on top – even those bubbles in the picture disappeared by the time I had uploaded this picture after taking it. The haze though was from the beer coming out of the fridge and into the glass very quickly.
And that was probably the “worst” thing about this beer. From the first sniff, Forest Brewing Morning Mist Jerez smelt fantastic and matched to the style. There was a light bready nose from the malts, alongside a floral hoppy aroma that laid in wait. Underneath all of this was faint yeast fruity edge to the beer, which was pleasant, and not repelling.
Forest Brewing really are up and down with their beers, but Forest Brewing Morning Mist Jerez continued to rise during drinking. A crisp body made this easily drinkable, with more of the bready malt flavour and floral hops being present from start to finish.
Forest Brewing Morning Mist Jerez : The Bottom Line
A solid take on a helles – one of the better beers we’ve had from Forest Brewing.
