Devilcraft Devil Juice is a 7% hazy IPA from Devilcraft Brewery, based in Tokyo, Japan. It is part of their draught and bottled lineup, though its availability at the time of writing is unknown. Nor do we know what hops went into making Devilcraft Devil Juice.
Devilcraft Devil Juice Aroma and Taste
Devilcraft Devil Juice poured out a somewhat hazy golden yellow colour with a medium amount of fluffy white head on top that left thick, white streaks down the side of the class. Devilcraft Devil Juice packed a punch in the aroma department, with lashings of fruitiness going on, first leaning towards a citrus bouquet of lemon, grapefruit, and orange, before segueing into an aroma of pineapple and mango. Devilcraft Devil Juice was pretty fresh too, so that helped things along nicely. The malts played off well with some sweetness coming through that was more pale ale based.
Drinking Devilcraft Devil Juice is where the proof is in the pudding. The body was bolder than the nose, with the flavours being stronger even when the beer was cold. The mixed fruitiness of the body had flavours of lemon, grapefruit, orange, pineapple, and mango, interplaying with one another, never quite leaving you enough time to pick out one flavour alone. There was some initial bitterness to Devilcraft Devil Juice but it was rather muted compared to other IPAs we’ve had from Devilcraft Brewery in the past. The fruity flavours lingered all the way through to the aftertaste but there wasn’t enough beer really left to warm up. Oops.
Devilcraft Devil Juice The Bottom Line
If the Devil made juice, then it would be something like this.
