Horsehead Magic Hour Saison : Appearance
Dull golden straw colour with a medium amount of thin bubbles on top that fade away to a ring around the outside of the glass. Slight streaks down the side of the glass.
Horsehead Magic Hour Saison : Aroma
Slightly musty aroma – not really a classic saison aroma that I’ve come to expect. Maybe the hops were damaged or old, but it didn’t really entice me to actually drink it. As the beer warmed up, there was a touch of funk to the body from the yeast that resembled something like a saison, but only just.
Horsehead Magic Hour Saison : Taste
Like in the nose, the body was a confusing concoction to drink. Not really a classic saison by any means, and with the musty hop notes present in the body, it didn’t really hit the spot of a saison.
