Novoru Migaku : Background
Novoru Migaku is a 5% German pilsner from Novoru Brewing, based in Miyazaki, Kyushu. It’s part of their canned and draught lineup, though its availability is unknown at the time of writing. It was first released in Summer 2024 and that’s pretty much all the information out there on this beer.

Novoru Migaku : Appearance, Aroma, and Taste
Poured out a golden straw colour with a medium amount of plump white head on top that faded to a few bubbles around the edge of the glass. Left some streaks too down the edge.
Floral aroma of hops with some light pilsner note malt note. Pleasant smelling with a touch of citrus lemon coming through as the beer warms up. No off flavours or noticeable heat coming through.
The beer had a crisp and refreshing body with a floral citrus taste from start to finish. The malts were light, with some sweetness present in the background. Well balanced flavours during drinking though I wish I had this on a warmer day more suited for drinking.
The Bottom Line
A really well made Pilsner that is great for those warm days.
