Streetlight Fu Wa Fu Ra : Appearance
Poured out a dull hazy dark yellow colour, verging on muddy, though the picture does seem a lot duller than the actual beer appeared to be. The head was frothy and sticky, with large streaks of off-white foam clinging to the side of the glass.
Streetlight Fu Wa Fu Ra : Aroma
Big hoppy aroma of citrus fruits at first – lemon and limes being at the forefront of the nose. A dash of tropical aroma was noted more so as it warmed up – mango and pineapple – alongside some medium malt sweetness. No discernible off aromas in spite of the oxidised appearance of the beer.
Streetlight Fu Wa Fu Ra : Taste
Medium bitterness though it faded fast to leave the hoppy flavours of citrus and tropical fruits behind. Rather a sticky mouthfeel to the beer, with a residual sweetness permeating through the hops. The lemon and grapefruit were the most noticeable out of the flavours, with a light dank undertone continuing throughout drinking into the aftertaste.

Streetlight Fu Wa Fu Ra is a tasty entry to Streetlight Brewing’s lineup and one that I’d like to try again.
