Tokyo Aleworks Juniors Cream Ale Aroma and Taste

Tokyo Aleworks Juniors Cream Ale poured out a slightly hazy dark orange colour with some hints of brown going on, but in terms of head, there was a thin layer of white bubbles on top that lingered before popping away to a thin amount around the side of the glass. Tokyo Aleworks Juniors Cream Ale had a light dusting of caramel and some pilsner coming on. Tokyo Aleworks Juniors Cream Ale had some subtle noble-like hop aroma to it but none of the aromas could be described as big or bold.

The initial sip of Tokyo Aleworks Juniors Cream Ale was confusing – a soft, creamy-like body with a sweetness that came through. There was no discernible hoppy bitterness nor bite to the beer either. Once Tokyo Aleworks Juniors Cream Ale had warmed up, there was a faint fruity phenolic-like taste to the beer but nothing that was off-putting in it. It finished off with a late flurry of noble-hops and fruitiness before fading away.

I don’t know if Tokyo Aleworks Juniors Cream Ale is a beer I’d take over an IPA but it is a quaffable beer – sometimes that’s all you need.
